CORVALLIS, Ore. - The Story: USC came into Thursday night's game ranked No. 1 in the country. By the end of the game, it was a diminutive Beavers running back wearing No. 1 who stole the show and the game for Oregon State.

Jacquizz Rodgers, the 5-foot-6, 190-pound true freshman, ran up and down the Trojans' defense to the tune of 186 yards on 37 carries and two touchdowns, including the game-clinching score with 2:39 remaining in the fourth quarter.

Maybe it was the jersey change from No. 21 to No. 6.

Maybe it was the injuries that kept him out of several games the past two years. Or maybe it was the San Diego State football team's offensive philosophy shifting to a pass-first scheme.

Whatever it was, junior running back Atiyyah Henderson seemed to be a forgotten man in the SDSU offense. So much so that even Idaho head coach Robb Akey couldn't call the running back who torched his Vandal defense repeatedly Saturday night by name.
