Heroes walk among us.

Southwestern College is sprinkled with courageous students and staff. These inspirational stories need to be told so we can applaud their courage and draw inspiration.

The Sun introduces a new series called the “Red Badge of Courage.” It is intended to feature inspirational people on our campus who have overcome tremendous obstacles and shown courage in the face of hardship. It will spotlight persons who have shown bravery in the face of danger. It will share the stories of people who have elevated others.

SWC Sun readers may nominate inspiring people on campus whom they believe embodies the Red Badge of Courage.

Nominations can be made by filling out a form obtained from building 640 or through an online submission. Candidates must give permission to submit their names for consideration and agree to an interview so their story can be told.
